Cabstrut concrete insert channels are manufactured from Mild Steel to BS1449-1.2:1991 and hot-dip galvanised after manufacture to SANS
121:2001 / ISO 1461:2009.
Cabstrut concrete insert channels have 38 x 15 x 21mm wide punched out lugs at 100mm centres and are filled with injected polyurethane foam
to prevent any ingress of concrete into the channel openings.
Cabstrut concrete insert channels offer a practical solution for the provision of mechanical fastening into concrete walls, floors and ceilings.
Because the support capacity of any concrete insert depends largely on the strength of the concrete used, Cabstrut cannot guarantee any
particular load. Recommended loading in average good concrete, with a safety factor of two, is 580 Kgs per 300mm for the P3200 concrete inserts
and 460 Kgs per 300mm for the P3300 concrete inserts.
Standard lengths are 5000mm. For safe support Cabstrut concrete inserts
should be at least 300mm long.
